Encouragement for your Day

Sometimes we need to be reminded of who we are.

Reader, You're the daughter of the King.

Let's make prayer as easy and as frequent as a family conversation.

If you're like us and need some ideas on how to get started, we've compiled a few gentle ideas to get started today. We hope you find them as useful as we do!

1. Pray in Everyday Moments

Turn ordinary moments into quick prayers—thank God for a beautiful sunrise, ask for wisdom before a test, or pray for someone in need when you hear an ambulance.

2. Make Prayer Part of Your Daily Routine

Tie prayer to existing habits like meals, bedtime, or schoolwork. This makes it a natural and expected part of the day.

3. Keep It Interactive and Fun

Use a prayer jar for requests, let kids take turns leading prayers, or write down prayers on sticky notes to track and celebrate answered prayers.

4. Model Real and Honest Prayers

Let kids hear you pray about both joys and struggles. Show them that prayer isn’t about perfect words but about talking to God like a trusted friend.

5. Encourage Gratitude-Focused Prayer

End each day by sharing one thing you’re thankful for and turning it into a short prayer. A family gratitude journal can help make this a habit.

"Pray Continually."

1 Thessalonians 5:17

Cheering you on,
